Heroin, arms seized in Turbat

QUETTA, April 24: The Anti-Narcotics Force, Turbat, arrested an alleged drug smuggler Abdul Rasool from Rodbun, Turbat, on the night between April 23-24. According to the ANF sources, a tip off was received that drugs in huge quantity would be brought to Turbat for further trafficking abroad. An ANF team raided a suspected house, accused Abdul Rasool tried to escape but was arrested.

On search 113 kilogram heroin powder, one Kalashnikov, a .223 rifle, a T.T. pistol, a Toyota Hilux double cabin, an Iranian motorcycle, a cordless phone, cordless scanner and binoculars were recovered.—APP
