Wapda Town to have college for girls

LAHORE, April 23: District Nazim Mian Amer Mahmood laid the foundation stone of the Government Degree College for Girls, Wapda Town, here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he said the college would be completed on 24 kanal area at a cost of Rs 40.642 million by 2006.

The project would benefit residents of south Lahore where there is no such facility for girls in the public sector.

About other projects, Mahmood said the Gulshan-i-Ravi Main Boulevard, Ferozepur Road, Multan Road and approach roads to Ring Road would be upgraded.
