PESHAWAR, April 21: The Social Organization Unit of the Malakand Rural Development Programme (MRDP) has completed several development schemes at a cost of Rs35 million in the Malakand Agency. Talking to APP here, team leader of the Social Organisation Unit (SOU) Dawar Khan said developmental work over 100 schemes was in progress which will put the agency on the road to progress and development.

In these schemes, he said priority was given to construction of roads, supply of irrigation and potable water besides education and sanitation of water.

He asked donor agencies and NGO’s to come forward and contribute to the ongoing developmental schemes initiated by the MRDP in the Malakad Division.—APP
