LAHORE, April 21: The Lahore High Court on Thursday sought a report from the National Assembly speaker if the legislature was enacting a law to curb the sale and purchase of kidneys and other human organs. The court also issued similar notices to the federal and the Punjab governments besides the provincial inspectors-general of police to explain in 10 days if they were considering a legislation to prevent the inhuman business.
