US commander due today

ISLAMABAD, April 17: The commander of the US-led troops in Afghanistan, Lt-Gen David Borno, will arrive here on Monday to hold talks with Pakistani officials. Lt-Gen Borno is expected to hold talks with his counterparts on a number of issues pertaining to security along the Afghan border.

He has been coordinating efforts of the coalition forces to hunt Osama bin Laden, Taliban and Al Qaeda activists along the border and in Afghanistan.
