HYDERABAD: STPP vows to continue struggle on Sindh issues

Bureau Report

HYDERABAD, April 16: The Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party will continue its struggle on burning issues of Sindh, including autonomy, division of Hyderabad, Kalabagh dam and greater Thal canal projects, demolition of old Sindhi villages in Karachi and opening of the Khokhrapar route.

The party resolved this at the concluding session of its 13th two-day national congress here on Saturday.

Party chairman Dr Qadir Magsi presented his political report before the congress.

He alleged that feudal lords, landlords and politicians of Sindh had entered into an alliance with the establishment to sell out interests of the province.

He further alleged that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement was using the Sindh card to further its own racial and ethnic designs. He said patriotic forces of Sindh should unite to fight against anti-Sindh forces.

The congress adopted demanded shelving of disputed water projects.
