Women’s swimming trials


KARACHI, April 15: Open trials to select two female swimmers for the 11th World championship scheduled in Canada in late July will be held at Model Town Swimming Pool, Lahore on Sunday at 10.00 A.M., Pakistan Women’s Swimming Association (PWSA) announced here on Friday.

Secretary PWSA, Veena Masud, said World Swimming Federation which is hosting the championship will provide free boarding and lodging to one of the swimmers while PWSA will bear the air passage of both swimmers and boarding and lodging of the other swimmer.

She said Kiran Khan and Rubab Raza represented the country in the last world meet.—APP
