KARACHI, April 15: Five ships carrying steel coils, lube oil, and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five vessels, Ever Guard and Golden Express to unload and load containers, Pagasus Ace, to unload cars, Ocean Emperor, to offload coal and Nur Yanbu to unload chemicals were berthed after the departure of six.

The ships, which departed included Hyundai Future, Y.M. Star, Golden Express, Iran Baabaei, Oranje and Pagasus Ace, while Y.M. Faha, Nur Yanbu, Eax Sanctity, Orient Prosperity, Wan Hai-261, Chembulk Yokohama, and Thore Captain are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 68,755 tons comprising 25,396 tons of export cargo including 1,955 tons of rice and 43,359 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Chemstar King, with 4,500 tons of lube oil, Lalazar, with 65,000 tons of crude oil, Eastern Star and PAC Antlia, with containers and Patrlot-R, with 5,252 tons of steel and general cargo.
