India’s fears were false: BD

By Our Correspondent

DHAKA, April 9: India’s security concerns over attending the Saarc summit in Dhaka have turned out to be false as Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao’s visit passed off peacefully, Bangladesh’s foreign minister said on Saturday. The Chinese premier left Dhaka on Friday after a two-day visit.

“The Indian leaders know that Bangladesh is a safe country and capable of ensuring security to anybody,” Morshed Khan said while talking to reporters at his office.
