KU contingent for Islamabad

KARACHI, April 7: A strong 205-member Karachi University (KU) contingent was due to leave for Islamabad on Friday to take part in the second Pakistan Universities Games being held at Jinnah Sports Complex Islamabad from 11 to 18.

Contingent included 120 men, 75 women and 35 officials. Athletics, basketball, cricket, football, hockey, table tennis, tennis and volleyball events for men and athletics, badminton, basketball, table tennis, tennis and volleyball events will be contested by the women.

The eight-day games arebeing held under the auspices of Higher Education Commission.—APP
