Bright knocks by Salman and Afzal


KARACHI, April 6: Salman Ahmed hit 86 and Afzal Khan blasted 85 in their team’s triumph in KCCA Centenary Inter-club cricket tournament on Tuesday.

At Airport Stadium, Salman made a superb 86 with nine boundaries and Muhammad Bilal slammed 79 with seven fours in Pak Star CC’s (PSCC) exciting seven-run win over Taj Sports (TS).

PSCC made 239-7 in 40 over and then dismissed TS for 232.

Afzal smashed an enterprising 85 with 11 hits to the boundary in Shaheen Gymkhana’s (SG) emphatic eight wickets victory over Crescent CC (CCC) at Shadab Ground.

In an another match at Dawood Sports ground, Doaib CC (DCC) beat Al-Hussaini CC (AHC) by nine wickets.
