LAHORE, April 6: The country will earn huge profits by exporting rice and kinoo to China. Punjab Agriculture Minister Rana Muhammad Qasim stated this after holding a meeting with a seven-member Chinese delegation headed by Chinese minister Li Changjiang on Wednesday.The delegation was here to sign an MoU for importing rice and kinoo from Pakistan. Mr Qasim said that Pakistani rice and kinoo were known all over the world for their quality and taste. He said that Pakistan would earn heavy foreign exchange from its export of rice and kinoo to China.

Earlier, during the meeting, the Chinese minister appreciated the agriculture minister for taking the Chinese delegation to various centres of rice and kinoo to show their quality. The delegation also called on Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Shaukat Mazari.
