LARKANA: Benazir to return soon, says Fahim

LARKANA, April 4: People’s Party Parliamentarians president Makhdoom Amin Fahim has said the constituency of Benazir Bhutto is more important for the party than Islamabad. Speaking at a luncheon hosted by Chaosool Union Council Nazim Saeed Jatoi on Monday, he said that Ms Bhutto would soon return to the country and party workers would make her the prime minister for the third time.

The leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly, Nisar Ahmad Khuhro, and other party leaders also addressed the gathering.

On the occasion, Saeed Jatoi announced joining the PPP.

Mr Fahim also administered oath to the newly-elected body of the district bar association.

He said lawyers had always been in the forefront of the struggle for democracy in the country.

He appreciated performance of the People’s Lawyers Forum.

Advocate Azizul Haq Solangi and Ahmad Hussain Khoso, general-secretary of the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf, Larkana, also announced that they were joining the PPP.
