KARACHI: Security demanded

KARACHI, April 4: The non-governmental organizations working for women rights have urged authorities to provide safety and security to the family of the film and television artist and producer, late Afreen Baig, who was murdered in October. In a statement issued here on Monday, Aurat Foundation and the Women Action Forum have expressed concern over the threats to the life that were being extended continuously to the family members of the late artist.

Afreen Baig was murdered in October 1994 and her husband Farooq Mengal, their driver and his wife had been booked as accused in the case.
