KARACHI, April 2: Muhammad Aslam blasted a brilliant hundred to power Pak Korangi (PK) to a 114 run success over Young Pak Flag (YPF) in KCCA Centenary Inter-club cricket tournament on Friday.

Aslam’s 119 included 15 boundaries and Abdul Naeem hit ten fours in his 69 to power PG to 274 for five wickets in 40 overs.

YPF in response were spun out for 160 in 25.4 overs with of spinner Owais Iqbal tok five for 22. S.M.Saad made 50 with five boundaries.

In the second match Friends Gymkhana (FG) beat A.O.Green by 65 runs at New United Ground. Adnan Sager hit 73 with seven fours and Irfan Lodhi made 52 with seven fours to steer FG to massive 278-8. YPF in reply were restricted to 211-7 despite a dashing knock of 72 with nine hits to the ropes.

United CC (UCC) defeated Nazimabad Colts by nine wickets in low scoring mach. Tanveer grabbed four for 17 and Munir Ahmed got two for 16 to bowl out NC for 66. UCC reached the target for the loss of one wicket.

Northern Gymkhana whipped Al-Firdous CC by seven wickets. Afzal Hussain smashed 90 not out with 11 boundaries and Moeen contributed an unbeaten 78 with eight boundaries.
