According to reports unknown people planted a powerful bomb close to the house of one Abdul Aziz Ghori, a cable operator in Turbat town. The bomb exploded around 3:00 am, causing great panic in the whole township.

“It was a powerful home-made device that damaged a car and main gate of the house,” a senior police officer said and added that windowpanes of many nearby houses were also smashed due to explosion.

Mr Ghori and his family members remained unhurt, police said. A case has been registered against unknown saboteurs and further investigation is in progress.
