Peace talks: China hails Pakistan’s efforts


BEIJING, April 1: Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei on Friday appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for resolving its disputes with India, hoping it would help promote peace and security in South Asia. At a news briefing prior to Premier Wen Jiabao’s visit to four South Asian countries beginning on Tuesday, he said, “We are delighted to see the momentum of the on-going dialogue process between Pakistan and India, hoping it would lead to resolution of their outstanding disputes.—APP
