Raees puts KL in final

KARACHI, March 14: Karachi Leopards (KL) earned a place in the South Zone final of 7th PVCA Inter-city Veterans cricket championship when they beat Karachi Panthers (KP) by 16 runs in the semifinal at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium on Sunday thanks to brilliant allround show by Raees Ahmed.

Raees blasted an attacking 78 as KP mustered 196 for five wickets in their 30 overs after electing to bat first. Khaliqullah made 45.

KP in reply were bowled out for 180 in 29 overs with Raees Ahmed taking three wickets for 32 runs.
