SUKKUR: Two killed in hotel building collapse

By Our Correspondent

SUKKUR, March 3: Two boys were killed and many others injured when a double-storey hotel building collapsed in Rohri town on Wednesday night. The building on the Massan Road belonged to Ishaq Bhutto and it collapsed with a bang.

As a result, Lutufullah, 10, and an unknown boy were killed. The injured -- Abdul Ghani Khoso, Sohail Ahmed, Mohammad Ramzan and Bushra -- were shifted to the Rohri taluka hospital.

SHOT DEAD: An alleged thief was gunned down by inmates of a house in Dadlo village near Pano Akil on Wednesday night. Some unknown armed men barged into the house of Ramzan Soomro and tried to steal households.

In the meantime, the inmates woke up and offered resistance to them. During an exchange of firing, Anwar Ali, son of Tegho Korai, was killed while his other accomplices escaped. The body was shifted to the taluka hospital.
