PESHAWAR: Discussion on tribal culture

PESHAWAR, March 1: A thematic discussion on 'tribal culture and the rule of law' among students of the University of Peshawar and students of four universities of the United Kingdom will be held on Wednesday at 10am in the Conference Hall of Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum Archaeology Museum of the university.

The programme is being organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences of the university. The faculty is conducting a students' dialogue project in collaboration with the British Council.

A series of dialogues between the students of the Peshawar University and their counterparts from the UK have been held through video conferencing. The 16-member students' delegation comprises of Edinburgh University, Warwick University, Cardiff and Glasgow University.

The aim of discussion forum is to promote mutual understanding, respect and tolerance between students of two groups for each other's unique cultures and identities.
