GUJRAT, Feb 11: Pakistan and India can emerge as big economic powers on the world map by resolving their disputes through talks.

This was stated by Indian Lok Sabha (lower house of parliament) member Ajay Chautala while addressing a gathering of people from all walks of life at the district council hall here on Friday.

Mr Ajay and his brother Abhay, also a Lok Sabha member, had visited the district on the invitation of MNA Wajahat Husain and district Nazim Shafaat Husain. Mr Ajay said the people of both the countries wanted peace which could be achieved by resolving all the disputes through negotiations and interacting together.

He was all praise for Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi for bringing the people of the two countries closer and strengthening relations. He said the Indian parliament had softened its visa policy for the people of Pakistan and urged the Pakistan government to reciprocate the gesture.

He said he would soon table a bill seeking permission for Pakistanis to visit any city in India. Both the brothers were greatly impressed by the reception.
