FAISALABAD: About a dozen motorcyclists sustained serious injuries when their vehicles skidded off the roads in different parts of the city due to intermittent rain.

The hours-long drizzling has converted the city streets and roads in muddy ponds due to poor performance of the Tehsil Municipal Administration (City).

The intermittent downpour, which continued for the last couple of days, not only created problems for the motorists but also exposed the efficiency of the agencies concerned.

The major roads - Circular Road, Katchery Road, Railway Road, Regency Road, Karkhana Bazaar Road and a number of other roads in residential areas under construction for the last couple of months have converted the city into a muddy chamber.
