HYDERABAD, Feb 3: A joint left front was formed at a meeting on Wednesday under the umbrella of the Communist Party of Pakistan. The CPP, Communist Mazdoor Kissan Party and the Labour Party of Pakistan joined the front in the first phase.

The meeting formed various committees for organizational work in different cities. According to a CPP press release, other parties would join the front in the second phase and devise a common strategy.

CPP leader Imdad Qazi called upon the downtrodden people of the country to support the Baloch movement for rights.
