He was inspecting carpeting of the road on Tuesday. The acting city nazim expressed satisfaction over the pace of work. Mr Hassan was told that the road from Nazimabad Chowrangi to Rizvia Society would be completed soon and opened for traffic before Eid. The remaining road would be completed by Feb 17.

He was also told that the project's scheduled completion date was March 15; work on the road was initiated on Dec 23 last. To ensure better flow of vehicular traffic, the road was being widened on both sides, he was further told.
