PESHAWAR, Jan 4: The Peshawar High Court on Tuesday ordered transfer and posting of 20 judicial officers to different stations.

According to the order issued by PHC Registrar Sher Shah Khan, additional district and sessions judge (ADSJ) at Lakki Marwat, Anwar Ali Khan, has been assigned duties of district and sessions judge at the same station.

Sajjad Anwar, ADSJ at Bannu, has been transferred to D.I.Khan against a vacant post. Two ADSJs, Syed Asghar Ali Shah and Zahid Mehmood, who were officers on special duty (OSD), have been transferred and posted as ADSJ at Mansehra and Lakki Marwat, respectively.

Senior civil judge Jehanzeb Shinwari, who had been functioning as OSD with the high court, is posted as senior civil judge, Abbottabad. Civil judge-cum-judicial magistrate at Takht Bai (Mardan), Amjad Zia Siddiqui, has been transferred and posted as acting senior civil judge at Buner.

Similarly, another civil judge, Mohammad Imran, who was on ex-Pakistan leave, has been posted as acting senior civil judge at Chitral.

Other transferred civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates included: Abid Sarwar (from Peshawar to Samar Bagh), Irshad Ahmad Khan (from Samar Bagh to Tank), Usman Wali (from Tank to Takht-i-Nusrati), Riffat Aamir (from Haripur to Abbottabad), Syeda Saima Shabbir (from Abbottabad to Mardan), Shahrukh Arjumand (from Mardan to Takht Bai), Sadia Arshad (from Mardan to Nowshera), Hina Mehwish (from Nowshera to Mardan), Shaukat Ahmad (from Peshawar to Shabqadar), Niamatullah Shah (from Takht Bai to Haripur), Ahmad Ehsanullah Qureshi (from Lakki Marwat to Takht Bai), Asad Ali (from Bisham to Alpuri) and Shabbir Durrani (from D.I.Khan to Paharpur area in D.I.Khan).
