Quesco power supply disrupted

By Our Correspondent

QUETTA, Nov 21: Unknown miscreants have destroyed three power transmission lines between Uch-Sibi and Guddu-Sibi. But Qesco, according to its spokesman, has made alternative arrangements to ensure power supply to the consumers.

The spokesman on Sunday night stated that unidentified miscreants had damaged three towers near Mir Hasan in Dera Murad Jamali area the other day and the repair work was in progress.

He also said total requirement of the province national grid was 568mw and the suspension had affected about 202mw supplies. But around 188mw power had been restored through Habibullah power plant, Shiekhmandh thermal power and Rakhni-Loralai transmission line.
