PESHAWAR: Judicial officers reshuffled

PESHAWAR, Nov 4: In a major reshuffle, 63 judicial officers, including the registrar of the Peshawar High Court, were transferred on Thursday.
Four additional district and sessions judges were promoted as district and sessions judges, whereas 11 senior civil judges were made additional district and sessions judges.
A total of 12 civil judges were also promoted as senior civil judges.
The secretary of the Chief Justice, Fakhar Zaman, who was senior civil judge, was promoted as additional district and sessions judge and would continue in the same post.
According to the order issued on behalf of the Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk and other judges by the registrar, Salim Khan Minakhel, the registrar has been transferred to Nowshera as district and sessions judge (DSJ).
A member of inspection team of the high court, Muhammad Sher Shah Khan, has replaced Mr Minakhel as registrar.
The D.I.Khan DSJ, Syed Yahya Zahid Gillani, has been transferred to Kohat as DSJ. He will be replaced by the Abbotabad DSJ, Syed Mussadiq Hussain Gillani.
The Swat DSJ, Alamzeb Khan, has been transferred as Malakand DSJ, whereas the Mansehra DSJ Jehangir Khan has been made Swat DSJ. Mr Jehangir Khan has been replaced by Muhammad Ibraheem Khan.
Another DSJ Shahjehan Khan has been transferred from Malakand to Abbotabad as DSJ. The Kohat DSJ Subhan Sher has been posted as Member Inspection team.
The additional district and sessions judges, Aymon Zia, Muhammad Jamshed Khan and Pir Buksh, posted at Bannu, Shangla and Upper Dir, have been promoted as DSJs and will perform duties at the same stations.
Another ADSJ at Wari (Upper Dir), Khalid Badshah, was promoted as DSJ and posted at Hangu.
The senior civil judges promoted as additional district and sessions judges (ADSJ) are: Muhammad Asif (transferred from Haripur to Ghazi), Hafiz Nasim Akhter (from Lakki Marwat to Swat), Syed Zamurad Shah (from Charssada to Haripur), Muhammad Zeb Khan (from Bannu to Mardan), Shoaib Khan (from Swat to Charssada), Ms Sofia Waqar Khattak (from Tank to Kohat), Muhammad Zafar (from Karak to Mansehra), Muhammad Rauf Khan (from Swat to Peshawar), Aurangzeb Khattak (from Malakand to Haripur) and Muhammad Aamir Nazir (from Mardan to Abbotabad).
The civil judges promoted as senior civil judges are: Rozina Rehman (posted in Haripur), Asad Hameed Khan (transferred from Shangla to DI Khan), Tahir Mahmood (from Upper Dir to Bannu), Wajid Ali (from Hangu to Lakki Marwat), Aftab Afridi (from Kohistan to Karak), Muhammad Arshid (from Haripur to Nowshera), Safiullah Jan (to remain in Charssada), Asghar Shah (from Peshawar to Swat), Jehangir Khan (from Malakand to Upper Dir), Syed Obaidullah Shah (from Abbotabad to Lower Dir) and Fazal Sattar (from Shangla to Malakand).
A total of 16 civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates have also been posted at other stations.
