VEHARI, Oct 30: Federal Defence Minister Rao Sikandar Iqbal inaugurated the construction work for the provision of Sui gas to Tibba Sultanpur, some 50kms from here on Saturday.

The project will be completed with an expenditure of Rs100 million.

Addressing a gathering at the Government High School Tibba Sultan Pur, the minister said the world was facing the greatest threat of terrorism and Pakistan was leading the war on terror under the dynamic leadership of President Pervez Musharraf.

He said the present government was struggling hard for the integrity and solidarity of the country and urged the people to support the government in this hour of trial.

He said that Gen Musharraf would not take off uniform as the country might face dangers in the existing global scenario.

The federal minister strongly criticized the opposition for its undemocratic attitude and for creating problems for the nation. He asked the opposition to change its policy of confrontation.

PPP (Patriots) MNA from Mailsi Azher Khan Yousafzai, MPA Mian Majid Nawaz and other local leaders were also present on the occasion.
