PESHAWAR, Oct 3: Coach Bob Woolmer said on Sunday that although the pressure was on the Pakistan attack in the absence of Shoaib Akhtar, all his bowlers did pretty well.

"We only had five bowlers and this is a great thing to see how they reacted under pressure; Rana Naveedul Hasan did not have a good day but in cricket not everybody does well every single day."

Woolmer was also pleased with Younis Khan's wicket-keeping after Moin Khan went down with flu. "Moin was ill last night, so we thought that it was really a good opportunity to try him out; I thought he did extremely well."

Of Shoaib Malik who batted at No 4 on Sunday, Woolmer said that he had never announced he was a guaranteed No 3 player. "What I had said was that we will try him at No 3; we are trying to build an ideal one-day side and we are not going to put people in one position all the time and leave them there."

He pointed out that the real thing about one-day cricket was not to be too predictable until you had a side with which you felt comfortable. "We are still moving to find that particular team.

"On this tour we have two tough games against Sri Lanka coming up, probably now I think we have three, so that is where we have to finalize the sort of team that we are going to have for one-day cricket.

"I don t like doing reshuffling but because I am new to Pakistan cricket so I think it s important for me to find out myself who are the players who are going to react in certain situations and who are going to play well in certain situations."
