DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Two injured in grenade attack

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 3: Two persons were injured in a grenade attack here on Sunday. According to police, Mehboob Elahi, son of Mohammad Usman, and his guest Ahmad Nawaz, were sleeping when some people hurled two hand-grenades at the house in village Kot Jai, some 45km from here. Both of them were injured and taken to a hospital.

They were taken to a hospital where they were stated to be out of danger. The Paharpur police has registered a case against three brothers Mustafa, Azad Khan and Mohammad Iqbal under sections 148/149 and 3-Explosive Act. The attack was attributed to an old enmity between the two parties.

SEMINAR: A one-day seminar on "Inclusive education" was held at the Institute of Education and Research (IER) of Gomal University here. Dr Nasiruddin, assistant professor of the IER, Punjab University, was the chief guest.

The speakers highlighted the importance of inclusive education and stated that this discipline referred to make education arrangements for all the children of the locality.
