LAHORE: Clues to Sialkot blast 'found'


LAHORE, Oct 3: Police and law enforcement agencies have found some important clues leading to the identity of the perpetrators of the gruesome incident of terrorism in Sialkot and a breakthrough is soon expected in tracing out the culprits , says an official handout issued here on Sunday.

It may be mentioned that two teams of senior police officers are investigating this tragedy. One team is headed by the Sialkot DPO and consists of two DSPs and two inspectors while the other team is headed by an additional IG. These teams, on the basis of the clues found from the site of the crime have short listed the suspects and startling revelations are expected.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi is personally monitoring the pace of investigation into this heinous incident and is in constant contact with all the agencies in this regard.
