PESHAWAR: 17 judicial officers transferred

PESHAWAR, Sept 24: The Peshawar High Court has transferred 17 judicial officers. An order issued here on Friday stated that the district and sessions judge Attaullah Khan Bangash, who was an OSD in the high court, has been transferred to Lakki Marwat.

Another OSD, Shahjehan Khan, has been transferred and posted at Malakand as a district and sessions judge and district qazi.

The additional district and sessions judge, Matta, Mohammad Jamshed Khan is transferred and posted at Shangla with current duties of district and sessions judge and district qazi. He is replaced by Syed Moamber Jan, additional district and sessions judge, Swat.

The Peshawar additional district and sessions judge, Pir Bakhsh, has been transferred to Upper Dir. The Kohat additional district and sessions judge, Salim Jan, has been transferred to Chitral and posted as district and sessions judge and district qazi. The Charssada additional district and sessions judge, Mohammad Amin, has been transferred and posted in Karak.

Senior civil judge of Haripur, Mohammad Asif, has been posted in Nowshera. The acting senior civil judge of Nowshera, Ms Rozina Rehman, has been transferred and posted to Haripur.

The civil judge cum judicial magistrate at Ghazi, Tahir Mahmood, has been transferred and posted as acting senior civil judge. He is replaced by Nadeem Mohammad, who was serving as civil judge cum judicial magistrate at Haripur.

The civil judge cum judicial magistrate, Wajid Ali, has been transferred from Peshawar to Hangu as acting senior civil judge. He would be replaced by the civil judge in Mardan, Amjad Rahim.

Civil judge cum judicial magistrate from Peshawar Aftab Afridi has been transferred to Kohistan as acting senior civil judge and aala ilaqa qazi.

Mohammad Jamshed Khan, civil judge cum judicial magistrate in Lakki Marwat, would replace Aftab Afridi in Peshawar. Qaiser Rahim, civil judge at Swat has been transferred to Dargai. The civil judge at Timergarah, Asif Rashid, has been transferred to Chakdara.
