PESHAWAR: Five die in road accident

PESHAWAR, Sept 19: Five persons were killed and seven others injured in a road accident when three vehicles collided with each other on the Ring Road on Saturday night.

The names of those killed could not be ascertained. Witnesses said that two of the cars were racing with each other on the Ring Road in the jurisdiction of Gul bahar police station when they collided.

Another car coming from the opposite direction also collided with the two cars. People from nearby areas rushed to the spot and took the injured to the Lady Reading Hospital. Five of the injured were declared dead by doctors. The registration Nos. of two of the three vehicles are: ADH 4447 and IDA 241.
