'Vigorous efforts needed on Kashmir'

ISLAMABAD, Sept 16: President General Pervez Musharraf on Thursday said that both Pakistan and India would have to make 'vigorous efforts' to find a solution to the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people.

The president said this after a presentation by Foreign Secretary Riaz Khokhar on the composite dialogue held at the level of foreign secretaries and foreign ministers in New Delhi from Sept 4 to 6.

Gen Musharraf said efforts would continue for a sustained and serious dialogue to resolve all outstanding issues between the two countries. -APP
