Youth team leaves for China

KARACHI, Sept 5: The youth of Pakistan are talented and broad-minded who would prove an asset by joining hands with the young men of China for development, peace and prosperity of the region.

This was stated by Chinese Cultural Consular Gu Hongxing while speaking at a reception on the eve of departure of a youth delegation to China on the invitation of the Chinese government. The delegation comprises 100 youths from different educational institutions.

The Chinese official hoped that the visit would further strengthen the friendship between the two countries. Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Minister for Youth Affairs Qamar Mansoor said the visit would help in promoting ties between the two countries and allow youths to see the Chinese culture from close quarters.

He said the purpose of the visit was to show our youth that how Chinese were helping their government in the betterment of their country and what facilities were being provided to them by their government.

"This visit will give them an opportunity to benefit from their experiences and work together in joint departments. These people are invited by the Chinese government to learn about the culture and education system of China," he added.
