SWABI: Two women shot dead in Swabi

SWABI, Sept 3: A woman and her daughter were gunned down allegedly over suspicion about their character in the Chota Lahor area here on Friday. The victims have been identified as Gul Pari and Saima.

Shamsul Qamar, the husband of the woman, lodged an FIR against his three sons Liaquat Ali, Tariq Ali and Gul Nabi Khan. The victims had gone somewhere without their 'permission' and on return home, the accused allegedly opened fire on their mother and sister, killing both on the spot. The accused have escaped and the police are conducting raids for their arrest.

BODY FOUND: In Kota village, unidentified assailants killed Ghalib Gul and threw his body in a nearby field. The father of the deceased lodged an FIR against Laiq Khan and Kamal Khan, accusing them of being responsible for the killing of his son.

SUICIDE: A young boy, Waheed Khan, committed suicide by taking poisonous tablets in Topi here. He was taken to the hospital, where the doctors pronounced him dead. The cause of the suicide was stated to be a domestic dispute.
