LAHORE, Sept 1: The Punjab government on Wednesday transferred and posted 17 senior officials, including three administrative secretaries.
Livestock secretary Mohammad Athar Tahir was transferred and posted as Board of Revenue Member (Judicial) in place of Mohammad Ayub Malik who was transferred and posted as CMIT Senior Member in place of Khwaja Muhammad Tariq. Mr Tariq was posted as CMIT Member.
Lahore Arts Council resident director Syed Muhammad Hamid was transferred and posted as Zakat and Ushr secretary in place of Shafiq Hussain Bukhari. Mr Bukhari was transferred and posted as Punjab Health Foundation managing director in place of Iftikhar Ahmad who was posted as Livestock secretary.
Provincial Management and Professional Development Department secretary Dr Liaquat Ali Niazi was transferred and posted as S&GAD Member (Inquiries) in place of Abdul Khaliq retiring on Sept 8.
Wildlife director-general Muhammad Tariq Ayub was transferred and posted as Provincial Management and Professional Development Department secretary in place of Dr Liaquat Ali Niazi. OSD Raja Muhammad Abbas was posted as Lahore Arts Council resident director.
Industries Department's economic advisor Rana Abdur Rahim was promoted to BS-19 and transferred and posted as Population Welfare director. Rahim Yar Khan EDO (Revenue) Muhammad Hamidullah Sheikh was promoted to BS-20 and was transferred and posted as Lodhran DCO in place of Malik Muhammad Afzal Awan retiring on Sept 12.
Punjab Health Foundation deputy managing director Mrs Nahid Rizvi was transferred and posted as Children Library Complex project director. Bahawalpur ASP Mian Maqbool Ahmad was transferred and posted as Layyah DPO.
Sialkot ASP Umer Farooq Bhatti was transferred and posted as Sheikhupura ASP. Sheikhupura SP (Investigations) Dr Salman Rana was transferred and posted as Lahore SP (Investigation).
