LAHORE, Sept 1: The Punjab University's board of faculty of arts on Wednesday approved different four-year honours courses as well as revised curricula in connection with the initiative taken by the governor.
The meeting presided over by faculty of arts dean Prof Dr A Rauf Butt approved the launching of four-year BS (Honours) in management sciences by the Institute of Administrative Sciences.
The BS (Honours) programme include areas like public management, voluntary and non-profit sector management, and human resource management. This four-year course will lead to a one-year master of science (MS) in areas like human resource management, finance, marketing and management information system.
It is learnt that the board also approved the revised courses of ongoing PhD in management. The revised course will introduce new areas like public policy and management, public finance and human resource management.
Similarly, the board also approved a four-year bachelor's in business administration (BBA) programme and postgraduate diploma in agriculture management to be conducted by the Institute of Business Administration. The board also approved revised courses of MA mass communication and economics.
