HYDERABAD, Aug 29: The EDO education, with the approval of the Sindh education minister, has formed two teams for monitoring colleges, schools and technical institutions.

The teams will visit educational institutions on a daily basis and submit reports to be presented to the education minister. The teams are required to note punctuality of staff members, cleanliness of premises, quality of education, timetable, maintenance of record, state of laboratories and libraries and utilization of funds.

The team for college and technical education comprises the EDO, DO colleges, DO technical, the principal of the government girls' Zubaida college, the principal of the government Nazareth college and Prof Ghulam Ali Jamali of the Muslim college.

The school monitoring team comprises the EDO, DO secondary and higher secondary, DO elementary, DO academic and training, DO literacy, the principal of the government comprehensive higher secondary school, Latifabad-10 and the DDO technical.

WORKSHOP: District Nazim Makhdoom Rafiquzzaman has called upon officials of the district government to put into practice what they learn from workshops and improve their efficiency and propose such development schemes which could prove beneficial to the common man.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the certificate distribution ceremony of a three-day workshop on "planning and budgeting" organized by the National Commission for Human Development, Badin, in collaboration with the district government here on Saturday.
