The crisis centres are being set up one each in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar.

Adviser to Prime Minister on Women Development Nilofar Bakhtiar was the chief guest at the foundation-stone laying ceremony of the women crisis centre being set up at Shamsabad Welfare Complex, Rawalpindi.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms Bakhtiar said the women crisis centre in Rawalpindi would go a long way in addressing the problems of women who were facing any sort of distress.
