'Arms haul exposed Haqiqis'

Published August 7, 2004

KARACHI, Aug 6: Sindh MPAs belonging to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement have said that the recovery of arms and ammunition in a huge quantity on the pointation of 'Haqiqi terrorists' has exposed those who were enjoying support of official agencies when an operation clean-up was launched against the Muttahida on June 19, 1992.

The recent major arms haul, they said, indicated that people of the localities closed to the MQM as 'no-go areas' at that time had been held hostage with the might of weapons.

The MPAs insisted that now, those responsible for such crimes against the MQM be booked, tried and punished.
