ISLAMABAD, July 11: Ending his visit to Azerbaijan, President General Pervez Musharraf flew to Turkey on Saturday on a private visit, it was learnt here on Sunday.

He is accompanied by Begum Sehba Musharraf and some other members of the family.

Sources said the president was tentatively scheduled to go to Denmark after visiting Sweden and Finland and before going to Azerbaijan, but as officials put it, a 'scheduling conflict' led to the cancellation of the Denmark leg of his Scandinavian tour.

The officials said that Pakistan and Denmark could not agree on convenient dates for the visit. The sources said that the president might travel to London on another private visit.

The president is expected to return in the third week of July, but the Foreign Office did not give an exact date. When asked when President Musharraf was expected to return, an official said 'soon'.
