HYDERABAD, June 27: The Pakistan Muslim League-N held a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Sunday against the murder of party leader Pir Bin Yameen Rizvi in Lahore.

Speaking on the occasion, Sultan Shaikh Hanif Siddiqui, Malik Shahid and Asif Rauf Butt termed the murder of the leader a target killing and said supporters of democracy were being eliminated one by one.

They raised slogans against the rulers and demanded arrest of the killers of Bin Yameen and release of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Makhdoom Javed Hashmi and People's Party Parliamentarians leader Asif Ali Zardari.

In a joint statement, People's Party Parliamentarians leaders Zahid Ali Bhurgari, Mir Fateh Talpur, Aftab Khanzada, Fayaz Ali Shah and others also condemned the murder of Bin Yameen.

They said only popular leaders Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif could extricate the country from the crisis.
