KARACHI, June 27: The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) has, on the basis of final results of examination and viva-voce conducted by it, recommended 77 candidates for appointment to the posts mentioned below in order of merit , urban and rural quotas and candidates' own options, said a notification.

The SPSC had held combined competitive exams for the said posts in December 2003 and January 2004, and viva-voce of candidates qualifying thereby, in April, May and June 2004.

Candidates appointed for posts of Deputy District Officers (BPS-17) include 2320(r) 332(r) 2464(U) 259(U), 479(r), 436(U), 2415(r), 4208(r), 3231(r), 501(U) 323(U) and 2945(r); Section Officers (BPS-17) 746(r), 495(r), 2185(r), 3665(r), 2101(r), 2139(r), 2910(r), 4127(r), 4303(r), 60(r), 595(r), 1211(r), 1213(r), 254(U), 216(r), 1246(U), 1073(U), 601(r), 758(r), 444,(U), 4555(U), 361(r), 968(U) 4059(U), 915(U), 757(r), 3447(U), 1294(r), 423(r), 4052(r), 684(U) 4587(r), 2618(U), 2315(r), 418(r), 4247(U), 2969(U), 942(r), 721(U), 983(U) 4323(r), 3133(U), 3193(U), 986(U), 681(U), 344(r), 179(r), 3304(r), 3664(r), and 1063 (disabled); Assistant Directors Labour (BPS-17) 2492(r) & 3608(U); Assistant Registrars Co-operative Societies (BPS-17) 947(r), 891(U), 2312(U) and 4047(R); Labour Officers (BPS-16) 2228(U), 1396(U), 2673(r), 2658(r), and 4206(r); and Ward Rationing Officers/ Assistant Director/ Food Controllers (BPS-16) 2923(U), 4583(U), 79(r), and 931(r).

The notification also said that the above-mentioned candidates should be appointed to the services, as a matter of right.

While, the commission reserves the right to correct the result at any stage, if any error is detected later on, it added.-APP
