QUETTA, June 12: The opposition leader in the Balochistan Assembly, Kachkol Ali Baloch, and National Party chief Dr Hayee Baloch on Saturday said the country was facing a serious crisis due to the selfish policies of the dictators , who were serving the interests of foreign powers at the cost of the country.
Speaking to Balochistan Bar Association members, they alleged that corrupt rulers had transferred $100 billion to foreign banks. If half of the amount was returned, the country would have been rid of the $40 billion foreign debt, they said. BBA President Mohsin Javed presided over the function.
Kachkol Baloch said army rule, dictatorial policies and confrontational attitude were the root causes of all constitutional, political and economic crises that had made the lives of the citizens miserable.
He said the autocratic rulers had deputed serving and retired army officers on important posts and favoritism in the selection of officials was leading to unrest among the deserving officers, who had been neglected.
