DHAKA, June 8: Two trucks veered off roads in separate accidents in Bangladesh, killing 16 people and injuring 25 others, police said on Tuesday.
A speeding truck packed with hitchhikers and bags of sugar crashed into a roadside canal after one of its tires blew late on Monday in Feni district.
A dozen people were killed and 10 others were hospitalized, police said. A truck carrying construction workers slammed into a ditch in Pabna district, killing four people. At least 15 others were injured, sources said. -APP
