ISLAMABAD, June 3: Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Raza Hayat Hiraj assured the house prompt answers to questions raised by the members of the National Assembly.

Responding to a point raised by Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, he said answers to specific questions had been received which would appear on the next rota day. Hafiz Hussain pointed out that the house was not provided replies to questions asked by Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali about Prince Aga Khan's visit to Chitral.

Maulana Abdul Akbar raised the question about the performance of guard duties by Aga Khan force wearing uniform of Chitrali scouts, at Jang Bazar, Chitral airport, Garam Chashma and Boni on the arrival of Prince Karim Aga Khan on Dec 3, 2003.

He said this question was raised repeatedly but answer had not been provided. The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal staged a token walkout to agitate the issue but on the assurance of the minister came back to the house to join the proceedings. On a point of order, Riaz Pirzada termed MMA token walkout an irresponsible act. -APP
