ISLAMABAD, May 21: The spiritual leader of Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat Dr Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin (TUS) will arrive here on Saturday (today) after a period of 10 years, says a handout on Friday.
Dawoodi Bohras from all over Pakistan will welcome their spiritual leader at the Islamabad International Airport. Dr Burhanuddin will be the state guest. Dr Syedna Muhammad Burhanuddin (TUS) was born on March 6, 1915.
He was 50-year-old when he was ascended as the 52nd Daiul Mutlaq after the demise of his father Syedna Taher Saifuddin. Since his ascension as the 52nd Daiul Mutlaq, he has been relentlessly and selflessly expanding his energy for the last 40 years towards the spiritual, moral, cultural and social uplift of the Dawoodi Bohras in every sphere of life.
It is solely due to the continuous benevolence and teachings of Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin that today Dawoodi Bohras are not only proud of being an interest-free business community but also generate interest-free (Qarzan Hasana) for the economic prosperity of the community at large.
The most significant achievement of Syedna Muhammad Burhanuddin's majestic reign is the construction of more than 300 mosques all over the world where Dawoodi Bohras are residing.
In addition to the construction, restoration of shrines and sepulchres, Fatemi mosques and architecture were also made during the Syedna Burhanuddin's era. Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin continues his mission even at the age of 89, shaping the lives of thousands of his followers throughout the world.
