ISLAMABAD, May 2: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has started investigations into illegalities committed in the construction of Mustafa Towers in F-10 Markaz, a source in the NAB told Dawn on Sunday.

The source said the resident of a flat in the Mustafa Towers wrote to the bureau about the illegality committed in the construction of the 11-storey building.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has recently dismissed five of its officials for ignoring the violation of the building plan. The flats of the building have reportedly been sold without paying entire dues to the CDA.

The source said those who had purchased flats from the first owners were facing problems, as the authority had refused to transfer the flats in their names. When contacted, an official of the authority said the new owners of the flats had obtained stay orders to avoid any action against them.
