KARACHI, April 24: Pakistan top swimmers Kiran Khan and Mumtaz Ali got wild card entries for Athens Olympics 2004 to be held in August. According to the details, Pakistan Swimming Federation (PSF) got the clearance for two swimmers from the organizers of Athens Olympics.

This is the first time in the history of Pakistan that a female swimmer will be taking part in the Olympic Games.

Kiran, 16 being a top class swimmer of Pakistan is preferred by PSF to represent Pakistan. She had also taken part in the recently concluded SAF Games, Asian Games and Commonwealth Games and had won several national titles.

Mumtaz also caught the eye by his tremedous achievements at national circuit.-PPI
